Situation
It is the third largest country in sudamerica after Brazil and Argentina, bordering on the South Pacific Ocean, it possesses a diverse and complex geography.
Coast (West): Narrow band in the desert splashed with urbanized oases, as Lima city, they extend along the Pacific Ocean, there is located the Lines of Nazca, the beautiful beaches of the Pacific Ocean among others.
The Andes (Centre): Here is located the Andes mountain range, whose highest point is Huascarán mount 6768 m. and a susetion of mountain ranges such as: Vilcabamba, Ausangate, Vilcanota, Blanca, Negra. Huayhuash, between others. In this region are located the archaeological complexes of Chavín de Huantar, Machu Picchu, Choquequirao between others. Also here we find the beautiful Colca Canyon.
Plateau: Immense plateau in the South of the Mountain range, dominated by Titicaca Lake.
Jungle: More to the East in the Center of the territory, where spread the immense tropical forests of the region, watered by the Amazon, Ucayali and The grand Amazon.General information.
