It is the closest mountain that can be climbed from Huaraz, most people climb this mountain for acclimatization reasons and then climb other mountains of more difficult; the climbing rating of this peak is moderate, from the top you can see the Callejon de Huaylas , towns, most of the peaks of the Cordillera Blanca.
